Steps for Garden Set-up

Setting up for the first time? Follow these steps to get up and growing!

  • Find a suitable location for your garden, based on the criteriahere

  • Assemble your stand.

  • Attach lights to stand, using your light strip hangers.

  • Connecting linking cord and power cord to lights, and plug in timer.

  • Establish garden rules with your students!

    Establish a culture of safety and respect around your garden early on. Brainstorm your garden rules as a class. Ask students: What are some ways we can respect our garden? What are some ways we can respect each other in our garden? What are some ways we can stay safe in our garden?
